It is said that Yoga Nidra is the most healing and best of all meditations. It has an emphasis on health and healing where habitual thinking and thought patterns are reduced or eliminated and it also helps with insomnia and stress reduction. It also brings an incredible calmness, quietness, clarity and is one of the deepest of all meditations. Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep and is a state of conscious Deep Sleep. In this Meditation, you remain in the Waking state of consciousness, and gently focus the mind, while allowing thought patterns, emotions, sensations, and images to arise and go on.. While Yoga Nidra is a state that is very relaxing, it is also used by Yogis to purify the Samskaras (negative energy & thought patterns). It’s also great for insomniacs and those who suffer with PTSD, as well as a powerful tool for manifesting. It also raises “Bodhi” our awareness or spiritual growth.
Rose was trained to teach Yoga Nidra Meditation in Brazil during her Yoga Therapist Training. She has brought this powerful healing meditation to WNY in 2006.

You all have been asking for it!!! We only offer thisamazing class every few years. Please join Kali Rose for Tantric Yoga for Couples, Saturday, February 11th at 6:30 PM at the Bodhi Glyphix Studio located at 12377 Big Tree Road- East Aurora, NY. It's easy, you do not need experience or to be flexible to take this class. Tantric Yoga is one of many types of Yoga. They say “Tantric” is probably the oldest known Yoga. Evidence of it has been found in every culture: in cave paintings of the Stone Age, in ancient Sumarian carvings, in magical texts from ancient Egypt, in mystical writings of the Hebrews, Arabian songs of love and through out Greece. Hindus in India developed a system to balance male and female energies, which strongly influenced the Taoists in China, the Buddhists in Tibet and all other Eastern religions. The word “Tantra” comes from the Sanskrit “tanoti” meaning to expand and “trayati” meaning “liberation.” To expand consciousness, to liberate us from the physical level of our being, using the five senses to their limit and then going beyond. Tantra teaches you to explore every aspect of your consciousness. Kriya is an “action yoga” a major aspect of Tantra. The techniques are scientific and practical. The ancient civilizations of India, Egypt (developed cultures) practiced some form of Kriya. Kriya utilizes a process of “Internal Alchemy” to magnetize the spine, literally pulling etheric energy into the cerebro-spinal fluid and altering its electrical properties. This is called the secret of regeneration through “Cosmic Fire.” Tantric Yoga is not “X or R rated” Yoga. It is designed to take you to a higher consciousness and put that spark back into your lives. It reaches deep into our subconscious and brings your relationship into a new understanding. It creates heat and energy in the core of the body awakening the Kundalini Fire. The class consists of breathing techniques, meditation and asanas (poses) to generate a sense of heightened awareness. It is fun, refreshing and revitalizing! Rose interjects Tantra in her regular yoga classes. Class lasts approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
So please bring two pillows and wear loose fitted clothes, class is not hard, nor do you need to be flexible, as in any Yoga Class. The main reason many experts believe influenza vaccines don’t work is because of a natural scientific phenomenum called Antigenic Shift and Drift. Viruses evolve, they change from one form to another. So every year, actually every few weeks, the old virus has become a new virus. The simple reason it’s impossible to predict the coming flu season’s virus is because it is impossible to predict the future. Even if one gets lucky and guesses right, the next influenza virus is never just one virus. All influenza viruses are a blend of many different strains and many different types of virus. So the odds of you finding one particular grain of sand on all the beaches in the United States are far, far greater than any medical doctor guessing next year’s viral cocktail. Next year’s, even next week’s, virus will be a totally new, different, mutated blend of multiple viruses. So every year pharmaceutical companies make the flu vaccine base on…LAST YEAR’S INFLUENZA!! Even though throughout history no influenza epidemic virus blend has ever repeated itself, ever! In fact, if you made one today to protect yourself from the exact virus that is spreading right now, by the time it was produced and used the virus would have already shifted and drifted many times. Even the pharmaceutical manufacturers admit that this is a serious problem, and they “place serious doubt on the effectiveness of the influenza vaccine.”The only reason for manufacturing and using the influenza vaccines is financial as trillions of dollars are being made on vaccine manufacture and usage.
The Statistics Prove It Doesn’t Work… So regardless which experts are right, no matter what they say, the statistics speak for themselves. A few decades ago less than 100,000 people were hospitalized with the flu. Two years ago it doubled to over 200,000. A few decades ago less than 20,000 people a year died from the flu. Last year it was over 40,000…doubled again. In the last 20 years the American population has only increased about 25%, but hospitalizations and deaths from influenza have increased 100%. So, do you still think the flu shot is working? What we do know about the flu vaccine is that it has killed, maimed and made people sick. Do you remember back when the federal government tried to coerce every American to receive the swine flu vaccine? When all was over, 25 times more people died from the vaccine than actually died from the swine flu, and thousands were seriously injured with numerous neurological and immune diseases.
