Group and private classes- all are personalized to meet your needs! Kidz Yoga (9-12 year olds) is offered as seasonal class in the Fall and Spring. A good consultation takes two hours for an adult consisting of PH Testing, Iridology, Kinesiology, AmWanding, Pranic Healing or Avana Method (see below for descriptions) and I ask many questions regarding your lifestyle, eating & sleep habits, your employment and family. These are all indications of stress levels and many other important things that effect us emotionally. Yes- emotions can cause physical issues! The three aspects must be looked at- the body, mind and soul. We get to the root of the problem and treat the whole person- not your symptoms. Iridology The science of looking into one's eye to gather health information such as inherent & reflex conditions, toxins and blockages. The iris is a journal of everything that goes on in your body, its accuracy is astounding. Iridology is a non-invasive way to see what issues are developing- we see diseases in the making! We then use this information to get to the root of the problem- we do not treat your symptoms- we treat the whole person.
Some of the first recorded evidence we have of its use dates back 1000 B.C. when it was practiced by the Chaldeans. Studies of the eyes were found in the tomb of Tutankhamen, the Egyptian body king who lived in the 1400 B.C.Even Hippocrates of Greece , born in 460 B.C. and known as the "Father of Medicine" observed the eyes of his patients looking for clues about their health.
Credit for the official discovery of iridology was given to Ignatz von Peczely, a medical doctor of Budapest, Hungary who drew the first iris diagrams of areas in the iris that corresponded with areas of the body through reflex response. Dr. von Peczely observed thousands of irises through a low powered magnifying glass. After seeing hundreds of patients who all had heart disease and all had a similar marking at 3:00 in the left iris, he drew a map of it determining that this was the area of the iris to observe deviations in tissue that related to deficiencies in the heart. Similarly, he mapped out the iris chart of many of the other body organ and glandular areas.
PH Testing Testing the acidity/alkalinity of your saliva and urine (simple test) for optimal health. The pH factor of your body needs to be balanced just as the pH of your pool, pond or aquarium does. When your pool or aquarium is out of balance- algae appears. When the body is too "acidic" (most common) symptoms such as cardiovascular weakness, weight gain, bladder and kidney concerns, immune deficiency, joint & muscle discomfort and low energy appear. This can be balanced by educating our clients which foods are from the alkalyne group and those from the acidic group. Your daily foods/drinks should be 80% alkaline and 20% acidic in nature. When all else fails- consuming greens such as Blue Green Algae, Spirulina, Chlorophyl- etc can get your pH under control.

Yoga Therapy is very similar to Physical Therapy however Yoga Asanas and Ayurveda principles are used. Rose humbly charges $75 per hour for Yoga Therapy and $75 per hour for private yoga sessions. Rose comes highly recommended by Chiropractors and Physical Therapists as well.

MOXIBUSTION- The Alternative to the Flu Shot
Is a Chinese application of the herb Artemis Vulgaris. It is heated and applied close to the skin near an acupuncture pointworking with the immune.
